Hex Effects

Hex Effects is a competitive take that card game about amateur alchemists trying to clear curses before their rivals. Each player begins with four face-up Hex cards in a personal area called the Shadow, and the first to treat all four wins. On a turn, draw two cards and take up to two actions, including playing a Remedy on a Hex it treats. Every Remedy lists side effects that make you vulnerable to other Hexes opponents can inflict, so curing one problem can open the door to another. Designed for 2-8 players ages 10+ with a 10-30 minute play time, the game features original medieval artwork and is based on Side Effects.
