Refund policy
At Boardgame Select, we want your experience to be as fun and hassle-free as a well-played game! That’s why we have a 14-day return policy. You have 14 days after receiving your game to request a return.
What makes a game eligible for return?
To be eligible for a return, the game must be in the same condition as when you received it: unplayed, unopened, and with all its original packaging intact.
Starting a Return Request
If you need to make a return, simply contact us at orders@boardgameselect.com with the following information:
- Order number
- Name of the game you're returning
- The reason you’d like to return it
If the product is damaged also include:
- Two detailed photos of the damage
- One overview photo of the damage
- If available, a photo of the packaging
Remember, games sent back to us without a return request won’t be accepted, so don’t skip this step!
Once we have approved your return request, we will send you the instructions for returning your game.
We don’t cover return shipping, so you’ll need to arrange and pay for that part yourself.
Damages & Issues
We know how disappointing it can be when a game arrives damaged or an order isn’t quite right. If this happens, please let us know via orders@boardgameselect.com as soon as possible, but no later than 48 hours after receiving your order.
Exchanges
The fastest way to get the game you want? Send back the one you’ve got, and once it’s accepted, go ahead and order the new one.
Refund
Once we’ve received and checked your returned game, we’ll let you know if your refund is approved. Due to varying processing times at your bank or credit card provider, it may take up to 10 business days after we approve your refund for the amount to appear in your account. Still no refund after 10 business days? Give us a shout, we’re happy to help.
